Jazmine Sullivan
Jazmine Sullivan is a native of and was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam, her mother was a former backup singer for Philadelphia International Records. Her father gave an opportunity to be the curator for the Historic Strawberry Mansion. She along with her family relocated to the historical place of historical significance. She is a 2005 graduate from the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts in which she was singing music major. Sullivan performed as the contralto in the children's choir . Later after a couple of years later, she sang as an adult in the choir. His exposure to secular music was at first sporadic "I performed solo at the church, and I was asked to join an gospel label when I was 11 years old, but I wasn't prepared to sign that contract," she recalls. "Then when McDonald's was hosting a competition for students in big cities and I was offered the chance to perform 'Accept What God Gives' on Showtime in the Apollo and the audience loved it". Stevie Wonder sang her part when he turned 13. Sullivan At the age of 15 began her career with Jive Records. She was signed to Jive Records around the age of fifteen. She was the producer of an entire album, but the album did not see release. Sullivan was eventually dismissed at the hands of the company. They had a strong working relations to Missy Elliott. Elliott produced numerous tracks for her such as "Backstabbers" and "Backstabbers," which was written by Timbaland.
