An Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress, producer and writer. Davis' career began at the age of three, when she was featured in commercials on television. Davis was one of the series' regulars when she was a young child in the popular television program, Charles In Charge. This was the show with the highest one show in syndication to be rated. Josie received three nominations to the highly coveted Youth In FIlm Award, that she received for the role of Sarah Powell. Davis was an actor of note in many television films as an adult. The actress was honored with Lifetime Movie Network Awards for her performance. Davis trained with Paul E Richards intensively for over twenty years, despite the fact that she was able to enroll at USC's famous Writing Program. In the age group of forty-four, Davis auditioned for Hollywood heavyweights, Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. Davis was the only one who attended one audition at the famed Actors Studio with privileges of working there, was then named a lifetime member following being called back. Davis wasn't the only one of two actors accepted into the Actors Studio in the year that Davis was accepted.
